YEAR OF THE OX - HOPE
Last November, I entered an illustration contest "Ve Con Trau" hosted by Tired City and got featured in their 2021 Year of the Ox calendar. What special about the contest was that the profit made from the sale of these calendars was donated to Blue Dragon Children's Foundation. I'm very glad to be part of this meaningful project!
In this project, I wanted to illustrate the hope we were all having for a better, more peaceful year than 2020.

This is my first time sharing bits of my process. Often when I approach a topic, I like to brainstorm ideas, write down all the key elements I want to include, all the visual representations, metaphors, and sometimes I doodle on the side in the style that inspires me.
